Drama and music are on the calender for Greene County students.
Greene County Middle School students will present the comedy “Promedy” by Wade Bradford Friday, April 29, at 7 pm in the high school auditorium.
“Promedy” asks the question “To prom or not to prom?” Cast members include Dylan Ades, Robert Arnold, Avery Bardole, Brayden Cerveny, Jackson Gerdes, Andrea Grundon, Makala Kafer, Ellie Madson, Emma McColley, Clay Peters, Paige Egeland, Madison Hall, Josey Weaver, Markus Rosenow, Kaitlin Tjostem, Megan Higgins, Natalie Payan and Taylor Gierstorf. Doing lights and sound will be Logan Brophy, Nathan Hicks, Jacob Hanson and Emily Hofer.
Directors are Tammy Brophy and Sydney White.
The high school choirs and concert band will present their annual awards concert Monday, May 2, at 7:30 pm, also in the high school auditorium. They will perform the music they’re preparing for the Iowa High School Music Association large group festival May 6 in Harlan and all seniors will be recognized.
The fifth and sixth grade bands and the fifth grade general music classes will present a spring concert Thursday, May 5, at 7 pm in the middle school gym in Jefferson.
